Raise a concern

Ask the Order to look into a member’s conduct.

If a member of the Order has broken the Code of Conduct, acted dishonestly, shown serious professional incompetence or behaved improperly, you can ask the Order to look into it.

A member not being able to help you, or a case not succeeding, is not in itself a reason for a concern. Please describe what happened in general terms, and leave out health details and other sensitive personal information about yourself or others.

The Order is not a court or a regulator. It cannot award compensation or decide on a legal dispute. If you need that, please contact the competent authority, a court or a lawyer in your country. A concern to the Order can be raised alongside such steps.

You may write anonymously, but the Order advises against it: without a way to contact you, a concern can rarely be investigated properly. If the investigation would make your identity known to the member, the Order tells you first. How concerns are handled.

From the member's card or record.
Month and year is enough.
Please describe it in general terms. Do not include health details or other sensitive personal information about yourself or others.
