Incident Reporting

When you witness, or are the victim of, incorrect behaviour unbecoming a jurist and lawyer then you should report this to us. We will then investigate. The investigation process can be done safely with the reporting party being kept anonymously as much as possible. If the process means your identity is going to be known then we will advise you first. If the investigation confirms that the conduct was unbecoming a jurist then we will look to redress this behaviour and ultimately this may lead to removal of membership.

Any upheld reports which resulted in a reprimand, sanction or removal, will be noted against the jurist’s public record. Incidents can be reported here:

Incident Reports

The incident reports will remain confidential from the public. This to protect both parties. Where a jurist is found to be in the wrong this will be noted on his public record but without any details on the why or the who. What will be listed is any corrective sanctions or reprimands. These will not identify the reporter. Where a member was removed due to an upheld complaint this too is recorded, again without public details.

Jurist and Lawyers listings

The jurists and lawyers listings are publicly available through a share code or link. These listings are not published openly and the member must share his code with any (potential) client or any party requesting this. The member must share his code upon request. With the share code look up listings on our website here.

Fill in the Order’s membership number of the member and this will bring you to the Member record. We do not allow a name entry, or a search. This to protect our members their details. Members are obliged to share their member number with potential clients and those they have worked for/with. If you know of a member not willing to share their membership number then contact us.
